Castle Gallery displays contemporary and applied art from Scotland and around the world. The exhibits constantly change but we have never been disappointed with any of them. You will get to see painting and sculpture, as well as the latest trends in handmade prints, ceramics, fine jewellery, and glassworks. The gallery showcases both established artists and emerging talent.

A little further afield in Ullapool but if you are out exploring the north then you may want to add this to your stops. They have changing exhibitions throughout the year alongside site-specific installations. They promote artists who are recognised in the national and international arena by organising events and participating at leading art fairs. The gallery also exhibits landscape paintings by James Hawkins. The gallery is renowned by an artist James Hawkins, his considered one of the best Scottish contemporary landscape painters. Their services include Contemporary Art, Art Work, Exhibitions, Collections, Sculpture, Artists Talks, Painting, Film-Making, Art Fairs, Print Works, Photography and events.

Scottish Flair Art Gallery

Scottish Flair Art Gallery is a privately, family-run gallery that specialises in Scottish Edwardian and Victorian Art. The gallery constantly changing collection and exhibition of almost exclusively Scottish artists. The gallery is easily accessible as a city centre establishment and showcasing a superb collection of art in all mediums. They offer for sale a varied and diverse range of original Scottish fine art in all media types and price ranges. Logie Steading is the home to individual, creative businesses including The Olive Tree Cafe, Farm & Garden Shop, Whisky & Spirit Shop, Gifts, Bookshop and of course the gallery. It really is worth a visit.

Logie Steading Art Gallery promotes approachable and affordable, contemporary art from across Scotland and further afield. Paintings, sculpture, pottery, bronzes, glass, prints, jewellery, textiles and artists’ cards from over 100 different artists are on show at Logie’s gallery. Regular artists include Andrew Welch, Chris Adams, Jessie White, Mary Ann Rogers, Ken Ferguson, Fiona Matheson, Patricia Northcroft, Evelyn Pottie, Caroline Simmill, Sila Collins Walden, Graham Pook, Half-a-Moon, and Clare Smith, to name but a few.  Work from new artists is exhibited throughout the year; we have a rolling programme rather than specific exhibitions
